AMC Status
It is compulsory for all Mortgage Loan Writers to achieve Accredited Mortgage Consultant (AMC) status as part of their MFAA membership.
Loan writers with less than two years appropriate experience within the last five years, MUST comply with the MFAA Mentoring Guidelines until the two years experience is achieved.
AMC EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking) FNS40804
or - MFAA recognised alternative course
PLUS - MFAA Initial Compliance Pack (Course 201-A)
The above course 201-A contains the MFAA AML/CTF course. If you have previously completed an AML/CTF accreditation course via another provider we will recognise the following:
CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD)
All AMCs must comply with CPD requirements. At annual Membership Renewal a completed CPD Record sheet must be submitted.
